Blended Learning Program Development

Our client wanted to create an online version of a successful workshop based accreditation program for healthcare professionals. They had some prior experience with online course development, but needed some experienced guidance with the discovery, design, development, and deployment process for a more complex accreditation program.

We worked closely with the client from project conception to the final deployment, providing coaching, guidance, and expertise each step of the way. A blended program design was crafted to maximize performance outcomes, sustain learner engagement, optimize administrative efficiency, and lower operational costs. Soft-skill based simulated role-plays were utilized to continually build learner confidence that incorporated learning simulations and video based case studies. Virtual classroom sessions tied the course materials together to provide live group interaction, discussion, and reflection.

The program required the custom development of learning components that included:

  • custom video role-play scenarios
  • eLearning branching simulations
  • instructional job aids
  • quick instructional videos
  • virtual classroom sessions
  • informal and formal assessments (Kirkpatrick level 1, 2, 3)
