ASK: Our client needed to create a unique fundraising event site that combined real world quest challenges within a city and an online fundraiser.
SOLUTION: We worked with the client to develop a unique Quest challenge event experience for both their corporate and individual participants that ran for a one month period. We leveraged Luminate to create the core P2P site, while integrating some custom functionality, third party systems, and external databases to create the required gamified experience.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- The site included a custom scoring system for assigning badges and levels to award participants as they continued to fundraise and engage.
- A custom avatar creator was integrated to allow players to create their own personas.
- The custom points system was tied into customized leaderboards and rankings for participants.
- A custom participant center and companion quest centre allowed participants to track their quest journey, submit QR codes for task completions, and manage their fundraising efforts.
- Task event triggered automated email series with custom branded emails.
- Geolocation was leveraged to allow for aggregated regional scoring to pit various regions against one another (team dynamics for individuals) and generate an interactive map of the competition results.
- Custom tracking reports were created for event administrators to monitor progress, that also integrated with Google Analytics tracking.
